KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Fall weather is here with mild afternoons and chilly mornings.

THURSDAY: Most are waking up in the 30s and 40s, with patchy frost. After a chilly start, temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s in the afternoon. Full sunshine all day long!

FRIDAY: Friday morning will start in the low 40s with lots of sun. Throughout the day, temperatures will warm in the upper 60s in the afternoon, and we’ll a few more clouds build in from the west. Friday night football looks good with passing clouds and temperatures in the low 60s for kickoff.

THE WEEKEND: Most of the weekend looks dry with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. The chance for rain looks to return Sunday night and heading into Monday. We’ll keep you updated!
