MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Police are examining the ruins left behind after an unknown driver hit a South Memphis home Wednesday night.

The Memphis Police Department says a single vehicle collided into a house on South Somerville Street, located not far from East McLemore Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene at 7:52 p.m. The vehicle responsible was no longer there when they arrived.

MPD says no injuries were reported.

Police are now investigating this as a hit-and-run. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH.
