Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated new residential quarters for Gujarat MLAs on Thursday in Sector 17 of Gandhinagar. According to a government release, the complex has 216 apartments in 12 towers, which have been built at an estimated cost of Rs 325 crore. Additionally, Shah laid the foundation stone for a road project in Sanand taluka of Ahmedabad district.

Amit Shah is a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Gandhinagar. He reached the state capital on the third day of his Gujarat visit amid the Diwali festivities.
