VISAKHAPATNAM: A 14-year-old boy, studying in ninth standard of a government tribal sports school in Alluri Sitharama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh , slit the throat of his classmate with a blade for not giving him Rs 20. After the incident, which he reportedly committed under the influence of alcohol, the teenager attempted to slit his own throat out of fear of arrest by the police. Thankfully, the cut suffered by the other student was not deep and he is said to be out of danger. The accused received a minor cut in his self-inflicted act and was discharged after first aid. While the accused is from Kanthabhounsuguda village in the district, the other student, also a 14-year-old, is a native of Rega village about five kilometres from Araku.
