Harmeny Athletic Club juniors have excelled at the East League relays with the boys finishing first and the girls runners-up.

Representing the boys were, left to right, Fergus Ross, Rory Beattie and Blake Burchill.

The girls were represented by, left to right, Isobel Patterson, Kate Riches and Nancy Corrie

It’s the latest piece of good news for the Edinburgh club who have been nominated for the Track and Field “Club of the Year” when Scottish Athletics stage their annual 4J Awards in Glasgow on 29. November.

Harmeny will be up against Cumbernauld AC and Glasgow’s Victoria Park.
