Stuart Findlay is determined to send Hearts’ fans home happy by earning a result in Sunday’s top-of-the-table clash with champions Celtic at Tynecastle (kick-off noon).

The 30-year-old defender, who is on loan from English side, Oxford United, says players look forward to games like this and victory over The Bhoys would take the Gorgie men eight points clear at the summit of the 12-strong William Hill Premiership table.

And the former Kilmarnock defender (pictured right in training by Nigel Duncan ) added: “It is going to be a momentous occasion and I have heard that it is sold out. That is not a surprise as our fans have been absolutely outstanding.

“Both teams deserve to have this game as both teams are at the top of the table at the moment.”
