GRAND FORKS – The extraordinary career of Laurel Reuter is a mosaic of a rich life informed by a cosmopolitan viewpoint, but with roots planted deep in rural North Dakota, the place she “absolutely loved,” say those who knew her best.
Reuter, the founder, chief curator and longtime director of the North Dakota Museum of Art, died in her home Oct. 13 at age 81.
