GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Thursday, Oct. 23, is the last day to donate to the Coats for Kids campaign.
Thousands of children in Northeast Wisconsin need a coat to stay warm this winter.
The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay says it needs four specific sizes:
0-24 months
Kids size 8
Adult small
Adult medium
If you buy a coat or have one that’s gently used -- in like-new condition with working zippers -- or winter gear such as mittens, gloves, hats and scarves, you can bring it to the WBAY lobby or any of 200 area businesses during business hours.
There are 4,500 kids in Brown County registered for Coats for Kids this year. The Salvation Army says that’s similar to last year.
