LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested Darrell D. House, 59, of East Bernstadt on Oct. 21.
It happened at a business off US 25, six miles south of London.
A deputy was called to a possible seizure that EMS needed assistance with.
Upon arriving at the scene, the man could not maintain balance and had erratic speech.
He was determined to be under the influence.
After arresting House, the deputy found a short blue straw with powder residue believed to be methamphetamine.
Also found were two clear plastic baggies containing crystal-like substances, also believed to be methamphetamine.
House was charged with:
Public intoxication – controlled substances
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a controlled substance – first degree, first offense,
