IPL 2025 finalists Punjab Kings on Thursday announced the appointment of former India cricketer Sairaj Bahutule as the new spin bowling coach ahead of the 2026 season.

Bahutule takes over from Sunil Joshi, who served in the role from 2023 to 2025, and is set to join the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. Bahutule’s move to PBKS follows his stint with Rajasthan Royals (RR) during the 2025 season. He had earlier been part of RR’s coaching setup from 2018 to 2021 in the same capacity.
