EASLEY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said one person is on the run and another was arrested following a chase in Easley on Wednesday morning.

Officials said around 3 a.m., law enforcement tried to pull a car over on Ashmore Lane off of Turner Hill Road. During the stop, one person took off on foot.

According to deputies, a search was underway but they were not able to find the person. This person has been identified and warrants will be issued.

The sheriff’s office mentioned that the person still on scene was arrested.
