Mariska Hargitay is setting the record straight.

On the Oct. 21 episode of Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast , Hargitay set the record straight on the correct way to pronounce her name.

Drumroll, please: It's Marishka .

She explained that people still get it wrong — including her cousin, who recently botched the pronunciation.

"I've known him since 1994 and he kept calling me ‘Mah-ris-kah,’” the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star said with a laugh.

To prevent more mix-ups, Hargitay said she's changed her name on her “Law & Order" call sheets to emphasize the "h" sound. "Now, on the call sheet it's Maris-h-h-h-h-h-h-k-a... just so people go, 'OK, got it! She's big on the h's," she laughed.
