Downtown Vancouver’s Arts District just got a little livelier. The space left vacant in Vancouver Marketplace when Art on the Boulevard closed in March is now filled by A Hall Artworks and Studio, co-owned by Alecia Hall, 48, and Damion Hall, 50. The gallery and studio displays and sells works by Alecia Hall and other local artists, as well as offering a venue for art classes.
A Hall Artworks and Studio’s first exhibit, a partnership with the Society of Washington Artists , is too big to be contained inside the gallery and will instead be displayed in the Vancouver Marketplace atrium. To mark the occasion, the new gallery will offer a trick-or-treat open house from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday with games, activities, giveaways and prizes, followed by a grand opening celebration at 5:30 p.m
