ANNA, Texas — The Anna Police Department is searching for a missing 58-year-old man, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Mobeen Shaikh, 58, was last seen around 1:38 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Wyatt Earp Drive in Anna, according to an alert from Texas DPS.

Shaikh is described as an Asian male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, the alert states. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes, officials said.

Police believe the man's disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety, police said.
