The son of George Baldock will inherit a £4million fortune following the tragic death of his father last year.

Former Premier League footballer Baldock died 12 months ago after he drowned at his home in Athens, aged 31.

Following an inquest, Greece international Baldock’s death was recorded as accidental by the coroner after he was discovered in his swimming pool.

Cruelly, the former Sheffield United defender had been scheduled to fly back to England a day after his death to visit his son Brody to celebrate his first birthday.

Probate papers confirm Baldock, who was playing for Panathinaikos at the time of his passing,has amassed a £5,781,399 fortune.
