Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp has announced that the provincial government will be investing a total of $14,953,931 in critical infrastructure funding for local municipalities.

The funding will be delivered through the 2026 Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF).

Funding is split between $7,265,520 for Quinte West, $6,209,952 for Belleville, and $1,478,459 for Prince Edward County.

“With reliable funding through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund, our municipal partners can plan projects that renew and expand critical infrastructure within their growing communities. I’m pleased that this program continues to deliver support for local priorities,” said Allsopp in a press release.
