TOWSON, Md. — Police at Towson University are investigating after a student was assaulted on campus Thursday morning.

According to a university safety alert, the victim was followed onto Parking Lot 11 by someone in a dark-colored sedan.

The driver reportedly got out of their vehicle and attacked the student.

Before fleeing the scene, the suspect allegedly damaged the student's tire.
