East Los Angeles— The Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College is celebrating the art of drawing this fall with three exhibitions, including Art Hall Projects 1: Manuel López, on view through June 28, 2026. López , who grew up in Boyle Heights and East L.A., created a monumental wall mural from six drawings that depict everyday life in his home neighborhoods. The piece marks the debut of the museum’s new Art Hall Projects series, which will feature large-scale works by contemporary L.A. artists.
