Birmingham City chairman Tom Wagner has no doubts the club would be able to fill their new 60,000-capacity stadium.
The Championship side plan to more than double the size of their current St. Andrew's home.
Blues are hoping to complete their £4billion project, which includes the creation of a Sports Quarter, by 2029.
The centrepiece of the plans is a new stadium for the club holding more than 60,000 fans.
Meanwhile, a 48-acre site has already been purchased in the Bordesley Green area of the city.
Wagner has now outlined the club's intentions , with hopes their new ground can host major sporting events outside of football.
Asked about the size of the venue, he told ITV: "60,000 plus, that’s the goal.
