Chargers trade rumor from FOX Sports reveals urgency level for running back deal

The Los Angeles Chargers are at the top of the list of teams most likely to look for a running back trade ahead of the deadline.

Rookie Omarion Hampton is on injured reserve through at least Week 10 thanks to a knee injury and Najee Harris is out for the season with a torn Achilles. Making matters worse, Hassan Haskins is now dealing with an injury, also, and has been ruled out for Week 8 .

That leaves Los Angeles with a running backs room that includes Kimani Vidal and four practice squad players in Nyheim Hines, Jaret Patterson, Amar Johnson and recently-signed Trayveon Williams .

Safe to say, that's not going to cut it, both in the short term and long term.
