Scott Olivieri has been elected as the next mayor of the City of St. Albert.

Olivieri took a commanding percentage of the votes, score 57.9% of all mayoral votes cast with a total of 9,453 tallies.

Former councillor Wes Brodhead was second, taking just under 5,000 votes or around 30.4% of all votes.

Rick Dory took just under 10% of the votes, Jared Eglinski had just under 2%, and B.K. Kang had 35 votes, making up 0.2% of mayoral tallies.

Neil Korotash got the highest number of votes for a councillor, taking 9,717 votes. Ken MacKay, Sheena Hughes and Shelley Biermanski are the three returning candidates from last term’s council, With Sandy Clark and Amanda Patrick all scoring enough votes to land them seats.
