Syracuse, N.Y. — Class of 2027 tackle Connor Long has committed to Syracuse, he announced on social media Wednesday night.

Long, a junior at Old Bridge High School in New Jersey, puts his 6-foot-8, 343-pound frame to work at both offensive and defensive tackle.

Long, unrated by the major recruiting sites, was one of many prospects in attendance for Syracuse’s 30-13 loss to Pittsburgh last week.

Syracuse was the first team to offer Long back in January, and Saturday was his second trip to Central New York.

Long’s first visit was during Syracuse’s spring practices, when the Orange filled its full sideline with visitors every weekend.

With seven commitments, Syracuse’s 2027 recruiting class ranks third in the country behind Sacramento State and Oklahoma, according to 247Sports.
