BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A Denham Springs resident is behind bars, accused of multiple alleged child sex crimes.
According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Wayne Howlett, 29, was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center on the following charges:
1 count of child sexual abuse material
7 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile
7 counts of video voyeurism
Detectives reportedly began their investigation in September after receiving a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) about the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
