MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison Police Department officers arrested three teen boys after a student was attacked last week at West High School.

MPD said two of the teens, ages 15 and 16, are accused of first-degree reckless injury as party to a crime and battery as party to a crime. Police took both teens to the juvenile reception center.

A 17-year-old faces charges of battery and disorderly conduct. Police said he was issued an order-in court date.

MPD did not name the three teen suspects.

The department noted these charges and potential charges for any other suspects could change as police continue to investigate.

The attack was reported the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 15. MPD said the student needed to be hospitalized.
