Approved: Mobile food definitions

The commission reviewed the addition of mobile food units to the county’s zoning ordinance, and approved the added definition and its proposed uses unanimously. Here are some of the proposed use conditions: • Permanent structures cannot be added to the unit nor near it. • The unit must move every night unless it is positioned for a multi-day event. • Tents cannot be larger than 400 square feet without obtaining a temporary permit from the county. • Written permission from the parking spot’s property owner must be obtained. The unit may not block traffic or the site’s parking spots. • Business must be registered with the county
