A royal expert has claimed there may "never be another Duke of York," after Prince Andrew gave up his title, leaving little Prince Louis' future up in the air.
The dukedom has historically been given to the sovereign's second son, in a tradition which was founded by King Edward IV in 1474.
However, as Prince Andrew's alleged friendship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein continues to cause rumours to swirl, Richard Fitzwilliams has said he believes once Louis, the son of Prince William , becomes of age, it could still be "too soon" to take the title.
This, the royal specialist has said, would be due to Prince Andrew's longstanding relationship with the Duke of York title.
