LOUISVILLE, Ky. — There are still more than 300 days until Louder Than Life 2026, but next year's lineup is quickly taking shape.
Rock legends Iron Maiden will headline opening night, Thursday, Sept. 17, the festival announced. The band known for metal classics such as "The Trooper" and "Run to the Hills" joins My Chemical Romance as the second announced headliner for the 2026 event.
The show is part of the North American leg of the band's 50th anniversary tour in 2026, set to kick off Aug. 29 in Toronto.
LTL said on social media that fans can expect "50 years of heavy metal dominance" with a setlist spanning their first nine albums, from "Iron Maiden" to "Fear of the Dark." Fans can expect a mix of classics and deep cuts.
