DULUTH — The Minnesota Monsters announced the hiring of a new head coach in a press release on Thursday, Oct. 23.
Daron Clark will take over head coaching duties next season, taking over for two-year head coach of the then-Harbor Monsters, Tony O’Neil, who announced his resignation on Wednesday.
“Coming into a new league as a new team will always come with challenges,” says Clark in the news release. “I’m fully prepared for the 2026 AF1 season and looking forward to proving my worth, talent and skill as a head coach.”
Monsters owner Jake Lambert looks forward to seeing Clark at the helm.
“We are excited that Coach Clark will be stepping into this role," said Lambert. "He is an exemplary coach, and we can’t wait to see how he evolves the Monsters.”
