Two people are fighting for life after becoming trapped in a serious multi-vehicle crash which left three in hospital overnight.

Emergency services were called to Moggill Rd at Pinjarra Hills in Brisbane , just after 9.30pm on Monday, following reports of a six-vehicle crash.

Initial reports suggested up to six vehicles were involved , but police later confirmed three vehicles collided near Moggill Rd Service Rd.

A 62-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, both from Bellbowrie, were critically injured.

“A male patient in his 60s who was trapped in a vehicle was transported in a potentially life-threatening condition with chest and abdominal injuries,” Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said.
