1BROOKLYN, NY – A late-night subway encounter turned violent when a man was repeatedly stabbed in the head by an unknown assailant inside a Bushwick train station.

The attack happened around 12:50 a.m. Friday in the mezzanine area of the Morgan Avenue Station, police said.

Investigators reported that the suspect initially approached the 47-year-old victim for a brief conversation before walking away, changing clothing, and returning moments later armed with a knife.
