PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An Arizona man will spend over a decade behind bars after being convicted of child sex crimes.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced that Gabriel Spencer Carr was sentenced to 16 years in prison. Once released from prison, Carr will have to register as a sex offender and be under lifetime supervised probation.

“We are vigilantly investigating and prosecuting online predators and those exploiting vulnerable Arizona children,” Mayes said in a statement. “I’m proud that my office works so closely with federal and local law enforcement partners to protect victims and bring these online predators to justice.”

Carr was indicted after he posted multiple files online of child porn. Law enforcement also found more child sex abuse files on his cellphone.
