The Blue Jays will turn to rookie right-hander Trey Yesavage for Game 1 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It will be the 22-year-old’s fourth start of the post-season and seventh career start.
Yesavage is 2-1 with a 4.20 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 15 post-season innings.
He’ll match up against Dodgers starter Blake Snell on Friday night.
