An Aurora police sergeant who lives in Denver is accused of sharing images and videos of child sex abuse and trying to solicit a minor, according to an arrest affidavit.
Aaron Jacob “Jake” Bunch , 47, was arrested Oct. 8 after an investigation by the FBI and Denver Police Department into tips submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Bunch worked as a school resource officer and as a supervisor for resource officers while at the Aurora Police Department. He is charged with three felonies related to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material online, court records show.
