Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman today joined HBO representatives and members of the Nassau County Film Commission to announce that the award-winning series “The Gilded Age” will be returning to Nassau County for the filming of its fourth season.
At a press conference held at the series’ backlot at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, County Executive Blakeman noted that The Gilded Age has had a huge positive impact on our local economy. Since filming began several years ago, the series has generated $38 million in economic activity in Nassau County, including $13 million in local wages. Those numbers will continue to grow as additional filming is conducted within the county.
