SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - Two people are detained following a shooting in a Southaven neighborhood on Thursday.

Southaven police say the shooting happened on Elmbrook Drive where officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Regional One in critical condition.

Two people have been detained for questioning.

Police say there is no threat to the public and the shooting was an isolated incident.
