The NFL has onside kicks firmly in its crosshairs.
After finally appearing to win the battle in tweaking kickoffs, bosses are now looking to fix another broken aspect of the game.
Only one of the 21 onside kick attempts so far in 2025 has been recovered by the kicking team -- a 4.7% success rate.
The NFL 's executive vice president of football operations, Troy Vincent, told team owners and executives that alternatives would be considered over the offseason during meetings on Tuesday.
"Now that we see what has happened with the dynamic kickoff, it may be time for the membership to revisit some of those things that may be out of the ordinary," he said.
While the NFL does not want to make it too easy for trailing teams, CBS Sports claims that sources revealed the league would like to
