Well, that didn’t last long.
Kelowna radio personality Phil Johnson, who retired from one station earlier this month, is already making a comeback with another.
Starting Monday, Johnson will be on the air each weekday morning at OV-103.9 FM, That 70s Station. He’ll be a contributor to the ‘OV Mornings with Leslie’ program, which runs from 6 a.m.-9 p.m.
Plans are for him to offer commentary, profile volunteers, and interview owners of local businesses throughout the three-hour time slot.
“Phil was off the air two weeks too long, so we decided to create a new platform for him to keep the stories coming,” Karl Johnston, general manager of Pattison Media’s Okanagan division, said in a release.
“Phil’s trademark is his mix of insight and curiosity that Okanagan audiences have loved,” said
