Portland senior running back Kayden Dickerson has been a model of consistency for the Raiders over the past two seasons, being the bell cow when needed and providing a blend of shiftiness and power out of the backfield.

His play has put him among the leaders in the Lansing area in rushing yards and touchdowns. And his latest 146-yard, four-touchdown performance in a 49-7 win over Charlotte helped Portland secure a fourth straight league title.

"It feels great, and just a big huge thanks to my offensive line, they've done a great job all season blocking for me," said Dickerson, who was voted the LSJ boys high school athlete of week winner. "We're strong, we're ready to go and we can do anything. Our preparation every week, we work as hard as we can."
