PLEASANT GROVE TOWNSHIP, Minn. – An Iowa driver was hurt in a semi crash Thursday in Olmsted County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Shane Carl Swanson, 45 of Leland, IA, was driving a 2019 Peterbilt semi west on Interstate 90 when he went off the road and crashed onto Simpson Road SE. The accident left Swanson with what are described as non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester for treatment.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance assisted with this accident, which happened around 11:17 am.
