SPOKANE, Wash. — .According to court documents, 33-year-old Zachary Gring pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and tampering with a witness. Those charges carry a sentence of up to five years in confinement.The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on a Saturday when Spokane police responded to reports of shots fired at a home and car near an alley by Lincoln Street and Mansfield Avenue.Police said Gring fled the scene but was later located and arrested after a witness reported seeing him.The second suspect, Allie Alderson, was booked into the Spokane County Jail on a Department of Corrections warrant, a warrant for first-degree no valid operator’s license, and two counts of drive-by shooting.
