PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A woman was arrested, accused of stabbing a stranger in North Portland and leaving her hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, police said.
At around 1 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing at North Killingsworth Court and Albina Avenue.
Arriving at the scene, police say they found a woman with serious injuries. Any possible suspect or suspects had left the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital and officials say she is expected to survive.
After gathering information from witnesses, other PPB detectives - who were in the area investigating a separate incident - found and arrested the suspect near North Killingsworth Street and Minnesota Avenue.
