Amid one of his worst performances of the season, the Miami Dolphins decided to bench quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on Sunday.
The Dolphins’ 2025 season continued to unravel on Sunday, with Miami enduring a 31-6 defeat at the hands of the previously 1-5 Browns.
During Miami’s game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, head coach Mike McDaniel pulled Tagovailoa out.
Tagovailoa completed 12-23 passes for 100 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions.
What was seemingly the last straw came when he threw a terrible interception from his own end zone that almost led to a pick-six.
As soon as the play was done, Mike McDaniel wasted no time gesturing for Tua Tagovailoa to get off the field and head right to the bench.
