Winter weather advisory issued by the NWS for Saturday and Sunday

On Thursday at 12:48 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid from Saturday 11 a.m. until Sunday 5 p.m. for South Central Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.

The weather service adds to be ready for, “Total snow accumulations 5 to 15 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph over high and exposed terrain.”

“Travel may be difficult and delays in your commute. Strong winds could cause tree damage,” explains the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
