A tow truck driver was rescued after his vehicle was left dangling over a Texas overpass following a crash

Martin Briones-Vazquez, 32, was able to escape just 15 minutes after he became trapped in the truck

A tow truck driver was rescued from a precarious position on Wednesday after his vehicle was left dangling off a Texas overpass following a crash.

Crews responded to the scene on Sam Rayburn Tollway in the early afternoon on Wednesday, Oct. 22, according to a statement shared on Facebook by the McKinney Fire Department (MFD).

Fire officials said a semi-tow truck “ended up hanging off the edge” after it “swerved to avoid another vehicle” on the roadway.
