Niagara Health is looking for a local business to give staff, patients and visitors a shot of caffeine when the new south Niagara Falls hospital opens three years from now.
The hospital system will be issuing a request for proposals in December in the hope of finding a vendor to run a café at the hospital, under construction at the corner of Montrose and Biggar roads. It would prefer it to be owned and operated by a local vendor who would bring “a unique and community-minded approach” to the facility.
In a media release, hospital redevelopment team director Jessica Mottola called it “an incredible opportunity for a local business to play an important role in the hospital experience.
