A glimpse of proposed upgrades to Beamer Memorial Conservation Area in Grimsby should be available to the public before spring.
Eric Baldin, manager of conservation areas land planning for Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority , said they could include improvements to washrooms, parking, trails and signs, all part of a master plan for the area.
“At that point, we could potentially have draft concepts of potential site improvements for people to review and comment on,” said Baldin, adding the concepts for the 65-hectare conservation area would be presented during a public meeting.
NPCA gathered public input online and during a Sept. 23 meeting at Elizabeth Street Pumphouse in Grimsby that drew about 50 people.
