Vikings cut ties with 2025 draft pick to activate Aaron Jones from Injured Reserve
Every NFL roster move has an equal and opposite reaction, even if only one side of the equation takes the headlines.
For example, on Thursday, the Minnesota Vikings activated Aaron Jones from Injured Reserve. Jones will return to the backfield in time for Thursday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers .
But the Vikings also had to clear a roster space to make room for Jones' activation from IR.
To do that, they waived Kobe King.
King was a sixth-round pick just this year out of Penn State. The Vikings chose him No. 201 overall in April's draft.
The linebacker is originally from Detroit, where he played at perennial powerhouse Cass Tech.
