A popular rock band is currently making their way around North America for a tour.

However, while they still have some shows left, the band has announced it’ll be a while before they get back onstage again.

Blabbermouth reports that The Cult — an English group formed in the 1980s that’s began with the name Death Cult — informed fans on Wednesday that they intend to “step away from touring for an undetermined amount of time.”

A joint statement shared via Instagram from longest-standing members Ian Astbury (vocals) and Billy Duffy (guitar) elaborated that The Cult will be using this time to focus on new music.
