Brick Memorial’s victory advances it to a matchup with third-seeded Toms River East, which had a preliminary-round bye.
Brick Memorial held a 2-1 halftime lead before Neptune rallied with a pair of third-quarter goals to tie the game at 3-3 heading into the fourth.
Sophia Scrofine, Campbell Miller and Lyla Blood each scored a goal and Arianna Lopez made 12 saves for Brick Memorial (3-13-1).
Neptune saw its four-game winning streak come to a close as it dropped to 6-11.
