In a statement, the family was 'truly shocked and utterly heartbroken at the loss of our cherished son and devoted brother'.

A week after Harley's passing, Nottingham Forest, the club Pearce made over 500 appearances for as a player, picked up their first win this season since the opening weekend of the Premier League on August 17.
